This Fabric Bond Tape uses the best in bonding technology for clean seams. It supports the three principles of welding success: speed, heat, and pressure. The polyurethane-based welding tape is used to heat seal seams with RF (Radio Frequency) bar, Hot Wedge, or Hot Air welding equipment. We suggest using with a Miller Weldmaster®.
The 5/8" fabric bond tape is designed for use with polyester, vinyl, and acrylic fabrics like Sunbrella®. It creates smooth, watertight seams and removes the need for thread matching. Use the white heat seal tape for industrial awning or marine projects. Offered exclusively through Trivantage®.
Product Note: Not all fabrics are heat compatible. Please make sure that the chosen fabric is heat sealable before bonding with a welder. Always test bonding tape before using on a large scale. Bonding tape is typically not needed when bonding vinyl to vinyl. For welding fire-retardant fabrics, use Fabric Bond Tape FR #500596.
