Phifer SunTex 80 is a unique outdoor mesh fabric that absorbs up to 80% of the sun's hot rays. With a 20% open weave, it acts as a breathable privacy screen with good outward viewing while still screening UV light and insects. When used as an outdoor window shade, it helps keep interiors cooler and prevents furniture from fading. This makes it a great energy saver. Made from stable vinyl-coated polyester, the sun screen fabric defends against tearing and pet damage.
SunTex is perfect as an outdoor sun shade fabric on windows, doors, porches, and patios. Suffused with Microban® antimicrobial protection, the material stays cleaner for longer. The exterior solar screen hinders the buildup of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. It only needs an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. SunTex 80 Screen and Mesh #902017 is available in a high-depth Grey.
