Phifer SunTex 90 is a popular outdoor mesh fabric that absorbs up to 90% of the sun's hot rays. With a 10% open weave, it serves as a breathable privacy screen with decent outward visibility while still blocking insects and UV light. When used as an outdoor window shade, it keeps rooms cooler and prevents furniture from fading. This makes it a great energy saver. Composed of durable vinyl-coated polyester, the sun screen fabric resists tearing and pet damage.
SunTex is ideal as a mesh sun shade fabric on windows, doors, porches, and patios. Furnished with Microban® antimicrobial protection, the material keeps clean for longer. The exterior solar screen curbs the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. It needs only an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water.
