These convenient bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Polymatic thread. Coated for superior UV resistance, Polymatic is less receptive to sun damage. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features increased lubrication to protect the thread while sewing.
Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, so a thinner thread size may be used if needed. The single ply is less prone to ravel and knot during sewing. Polymatic can be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is great for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile reduces the thread's direct exposure to surface abrasion. The thread is bleach cleanable.
Suggested uses for the pre-wound bobbins include sports equipment, filtration, outdoor and marine fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, quilting, and embroidery. Offered here in White.
