Description

These bobbins are conveniently pre-wound with Coats Polymatic thread. Treated for advanced UV resistance, Polymatic is less receptive to sun damages. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features increased lubrication to protect the thread while sewing.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted threads, so a thinner thread size may be used if needed. The single ply is less prone to knot and ravel during sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is great for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile limits the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. Since the thread is bleach cleanable, maintenance is easy.

Suggested applications for the pre-wound bobbins include marine and outdoor products, light sails, light boat tops, filtration, sports equipment, quilting, and embroidery. Offered here in White.
