Description

Formulated for maximum UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to damage from the sun. Composed of bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features increased lubrication for protection during the sewing process.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted threads, therefore a smaller thread size can be used. The single ply is less prone to raveling and knotting during sewing. Polymatic can be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is ideal for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile decreases the thread's direct exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.

Suggested uses include filtration, marine and outdoor products, light boat tops, light sails, embroidery, sports equipment, and quilting.
