Description

Treated for maximum UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to harm from the sun's rays. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread has increased lubrication for protection while sewing.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted threads, therefore a smaller thread size can be used. The single ply is less prone to raveling and knotting while sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is suited for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile reduces the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. For easy maintenance, it is unaffected by bleach.

Suggested applications include sports equipment, filtration, marine and outdoor products, quilting, embroidery, light boat tops, and light sails.
