Description

These convenient bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made of a durable, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. It provides 20-33% higher strength than standard lubricated sewing threads. Heat set to reduce stretching and shrinkage, Ultra Dee seams have a more uniform appearance. The bonded finish helps prevent ply unwinding and lessens fraying at the needle eye. This means improved seam quality and less worry over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is equipped for extreme manufacturing and challenging environments.

Main applications for the pre-wound bobbins include outdoor fabric products, seat trims, furniture, leather goods, luggage, footwear, and marine applications. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins are offered in a range of color options, like White. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
