Description

These handy bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee sewing thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made of a strong, long-lasting, and continuous filament polyester. It provides 20-33% higher strength than typical lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize stretch and shrinkage. Its bonded finish helps prevent ply untwisting and lessens fraying at the needle eye. This means improved seam quality and less worry over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is designed for extreme manufacturing and demanding conditions.

Common uses for the pre-wound bobbins include outdoor fabric products, seat trims, furniture, leather goods, luggage, footwear, and marine applications. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins are offered in a range of colors, like Beaver. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
