These handy bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made of a durable, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. It provides 20-33% higher strength than standard lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize stretch and shrinkage. The bonded finish helps prevent ply untwisting and minimizes fraying at the needle eye. This means better seam quality and less stress over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is made for tough manufacturing and demanding environments.
Common uses for the pre-wound bobbins include luggage, footwear, leather goods, outdoor goods, marine applications, seat trims, and upholstery. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins come in a range of colors, including White. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
