Description

These bobbins are conveniently pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made from a durable, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. It offers 20-33% higher strength than standard lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize stretch and shrinkage. The bonded finish prevents ply untwisting and minimizes fraying at the needle eye. This means improved seam quality and less stress over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is designed for tough assembly and demanding conditions.

Main uses for the pre-wound bobbins include leather goods, outdoor goods, seat trims, footwear, luggage, furniture upholstery, and marine applications. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins are offered in multiple colors, including White. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
