These handy bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made of a strong, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. It offers 20-33% higher strength than typical lubricated sewing threads. Heat set to reduce stretching and shrinkage, Ultra Dee seams have a more uniform appearance. Its bonded finish prevents ply untwisting and lessens fraying at the needle eye. This means better seam quality and less worry over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is equipped for tough manufacturing and challenging conditions.
Common applications for the pre-wound bobbins include luggage, footwear, leather goods, outdoor goods, marine applications, seat trims, and upholstery. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins come in multiple color options, including Black. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
