Description

Coats Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted), durable, continuous filament polyester thread. It offers 20-33% higher retained strength than typical lubricated threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize shrinkage or stretching. The bonded finish adds strength, keeps the ply from unwinding, and reduces fraying at the needle eye. This means better seam quality and less struggle with mending broken thread or rethreading. The high-tenacity sewing thread is designed for heavy-duty fabrication and demanding conditions.

Common uses include footwear, furniture upholstery, seat trims, luggage, marine applications, leather goods, and outdoor goods. Ultra Dee polyester thread is supplied in many attractive color options, including Ashes. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
