Description

Coats Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made from a high-strength, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. It provides 20-33% higher retained strength than common lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to prevent shrinkage or stretch. The bonded finish adds strength, prevents the ply from unwinding, and reduces fraying at the needle eye. This means greater seam quality and less hassle over rethreading and mending broken thread. The high-tenacity sewing thread is built for heavy-duty fabrication and demanding applications.

Common uses include marine and outdoor applications, leather goods, luggage, furniture, seat trims, and footwear. Ultra Dee polyester thread is supplied in many versatile colors, including Red. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
