This dead blow hammer is ideal when you need robust force with minimal impressions. The striking tool is optimal for use in setting grommets and fasteners. The quick-change threaded faces are molded in one piece without metal plugs. Partially filled with steel shot, the faces reduce rebound and increase impact. An ergonomic, neoprene compound grip provides comfort in use. The dead blow hammer's aluminum body gives lightweight strength.
Dead Blow Hammer #DB175 weighs 2 lbs. and features 1-3/4" faces. #175 plastic replacement faces are available in hard white (#175HF) and extra-hard yellow (#175XF).
