This #5 grommet and plain washer set is used to support holes in a variety of fabrics. Made of heavy-gauge brass, these small but durable pieces of hardware can stand up to any type of climate. The nickel-plated finish gives added abrasion resistance and a silver look. Simply cut a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the appropriate setting tools.
While ideal for vinyl banners, drapery, and curtains, they also work well in custom upholstery, marine, and outdoor awning projects. Specific uses consist of boat covers, banners and flags, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, seats, signs and media, tarpaulins, outdoors tents, and awnings.
The hole's inner diameter is 5/8". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 pieces total).
