The Pull-The-Dot Fastener is a side-locking snap fastener, similar to the Durable™ Glove-style fastener, except for its “built-in” locking feature. This fastener will withstand extreme pressure on three sides without unlocking, yet will release instantly on the fourth side if one “pulls the dot” embossed on one side of the button. Pull-The-Dots have no sharp edges or protrusions to tear or mar the fabric to be fastened.
Since the socket opens only on one side, care must be taken that the button and socket are set so that the fastener can be opened at the desired position.
