TR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is lubricated with a silicone solution for high-speed sewing. The thread has an elongation (stretch) of approximately 17%, making it stronger than other leading threads. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is made of ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for tensile, versatile, and durable performance. UV radiation will not weaken or degrade it, which means it maintains its color and strength. Chemical resistant and unaffected by fabric cleaning solutions, it will not stain, rot, or mildew. And because it's developed to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.
Applications include tarps, pool covers, awnings, shade covers, upholstery, boat covers, and other marine and industrial projects. GORE TENARA TR Style in Black offers a color-rich seam to any outdoor fabric. The 300-meter spools make it easier to use a variety of colors on smaller jobs.
