The Polyfab Triax Canopy Frame System available exclusively from Trivantage® allows fabricators to build freestanding or attached canopy frames that support water resistant covers in either residential or commercial settings. The system consists of aluminum cast fittings that connect in a cradle-fashion with bolts or Teks® screws to standard 2 3/8 inch steel tubing. Tension on the cover is held within the frame, making it possible to create free standing or attached canopies that shed water and avoid over stressing the anchor structure. Assembly does not require welding, which means less equipment at the job site and the ability to use standard galvanized aluminum tubing.
Triax is ideal for residential projects such as gracefully curved patio awnings and side-yard car shade areas. It is also designed for use on commercial buildings, such as restaurant decks, building entrances and school courtyards. In public spaces, the system can be sized to provide shade for small areas such as park picnic tables and larger expanses such as swimming pools.
It is the responsibility of the fabricator within these parameters to determine the proper hardware for a particular installation.
