This #1 self-piercing grommet and plain washer set is used to support holes in a variety of fabrics. It will pierce most fabrics without pre-punching a hole, while placing the grommet and washer in the same action. Made of heavy-gauge stainless steel, these small but durable pieces of hardware are less malleable and stronger than brass. Simply install the metal grommet and washer with the appropriate setting tools.
While ideal for curtains, drapery, and vinyl banners, they also operate well in custom awning, outdoor upholstery, and marine jobs. Specific uses include awnings, seats, boat covers, flags and banners, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, signs and media, outdoor tents, and tarpaulins.
The hole's inner diameter measures 5/16". Comes standard in a pack of 500.
