Description

These #286 Slip-Fit Eye Ends are made from malleable iron and fit 3/4" OD tubing or 1/2" piping. The eye ends are properly proportioned for greatest rigidity and equipped with a stainless-steel square head set screw. The small eye permits a snug fit between the eye end, rod, and rafter holder. A barrel depth of 2 inches assures greater holding power between the eye end and pipe. Use to connect front bars with end rafters.

A popular option in awning hardware, Slip-Fit fittings cut down on stress and time during awning installation. No threading is necessary as all fittings easily slip on or over the frame and are fastened by square-head set screws. The fittings also allow fast adjustment when the tube/pipe is not cut to precise length. Slip-Fit eye ends are durable and easy to use.
