Featuring an integrated radio receiver, the Somfy Eolis Wind Sensor is an essential accessory item for motorized shade. Wind speed is continually monitored, triggering the control to automatically retract awnings as needed. The Eolis may operate the controls individually or in groups using Telis Transmitters. If the 3D sensor loses functionality, the motor will retract the awning automatically. This is a safety feature, and functionality can usually be restored by replacing the battery or the sensor. Even with the use of an Eolis wind sensor, it is still possible for wind damage to occur. It is recommended that awnings be retracted when unattended. Shown here in Off-White.
