Made from aluminum alloy 6063-T5 and a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used in conjunction with the Steel Stitch System. Generally used in spans up to 74" that are laterally supported against fabric tension at a maximum of 66".
Steel Stitch offers flexible design in the creation of awnings, canopies, and back-lit signs. The frame system uses the "staple-in" method of attaching fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC trim, in a selection of over 30 colors, is then driven into the tube channel to conceal the staples. Making use of divider strips to join sections and the exclusive FlashStrip® (forming a leak-proof seal against building surfaces), the end result is a desirable, smooth, and wrinkle-free awning.
Steel Stitch Staple-In Tube #SMP-15B is 1-1/2" x 1/8" and is 25' long.
