Description

Made of aluminum alloy 6063-T5 with a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used with the Steel Stitch System. Generally used as a middle rafter to support drop-in ceiling panels for under-lit or back-lit awnings.

Steel Stitch provides versatile design in the creation of awnings, canopies, and back-lit signs. The frame system incorporates the "staple-in" technique of affixing fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC trim, in a choice of over 30 colors, is then driven into the tube channel to hide the staples. Making use of divider strips to link sections and the patented FlashStrip® (which forms a leak-proof seal against building surfaces), the result is an attractive, smooth, and wrinkle-free awning.

Steel Stitch Tube #SMP-4B is 1" x 1" x 1/8" and is 20' long.
