This PVC trim is engineered to cover up staples once the fabric has been fixed into position. Used for canopy and awning frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel with a pneumatic hammer. Available in more than 30 colors, including Medium Blue.
Many fabricators choose Steel Stitch awning hardware for its quick-and-easy, durable method for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, connecting the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then hidden with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a small pneumatic hammer.
