Phifer SunTex 80 is a distinct outdoor mesh fabric that absorbs up to 80% of the sun's hot rays. With a 20% open weave, it serves as a well-ventilated privacy screen with great outward visibility while still screening UV light and insects. When used as an outdoor window shade, it keeps rooms cooler and minimizes fading in furniture. Because of this, it's a great energy saver. Made from stable vinyl-coated polyester, the sun screen fabric defends against tearing and pet damage.
SunTex is optimal as an outdoor sun shade fabric on windows, doors, porches, and patios. Armed with Microban® antimicrobial protection, the material stays cleaner for longer. The exterior solar screen inhibits the growth of stains, bacteria, mold, and mildew. It needs only a periodic cleaning with mild soap and water.
