Engineered specifically for exterior roller shades, SunTex 97 is a lightweight, full basketweave fabric made from vinyl-coated polyester. Thinner than traditional SunTex, it features a 1-5% openness factor, providing excellent heat and glare reduction, along with daytime privacy.
SunTex exterior shading fabric is pet resistant, mildew and fade resistant, and needs only an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. It is perfect for any exterior application. What you may not know about SunTex 95/97/99 is that it can help with energy savings by reducing the heating effect of the sun's glare.
SunTex is infused with Microban® antimicrobial product protection, helping to provide an additional level of cleanliness protection that won't wash or wear away for the lifetime of the screen. Microban protection inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew and works continuously, keeping screens cleaner for longer. This product is GREENGUARD® and GREENGUARD® Gold certified.
