SunTex 97 is designed for exterior roller shade use and is a lighter, thinner alternative to the original SunTex fabric. Made from vinyl-coated polyester in a full basketweave pattern, SunTex 95/97/99 offers superior heat and glare control with a 1-5% openness factor, along with added daytime privacy.
SunTex exterior shading fabric is resistant to pets, mildew, and fading, and it only requires a simple cleaning with mild soap and water. Ideal for all outdoor applications, SunTex 95/97/99 also helps reduce energy costs by minimizing the heating effect of the sun's glare.
SunTex is infused with Microban® antimicrobial product protection, helping to provide an additional level of cleanliness protection that won't wash or wear away for the lifetime of the screen. Microban protection inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew and works continuously, keeping screens cleaner for longer. This product is GREENGUARD® and GREENGUARD® Gold certified.
