A part of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener unit, the #88 "hook" (male) section is covered in small, stiff hooks. This woven tape fastener engages with the #1000 "loop" (female) strip that's covered in small, soft loops. When pressed together, the two mating strips form an adjustable, functional, and reliable closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's light, nylon structure provides strength, endurance, and easy care. The acrylic adhesive backing holds firmly to a range of surfaces. The unique self-gripping technique removes the need for rings, buckles, or snaps. Uses for these adhesive strips consist of clothing, mounting and adhering to walls and other surfaces, indoor/outdoor purposes, marine fastening, cushion placement, and others.
