A component of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener system, the #1000 "loop" (female) part supplies small, soft loops. This woven tape fastener engages with a #88 "hook" (male) part that's covered in small, stiff hooks. When combined, the pair of mating strips create an adjustable, highly versatile, and secure closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's lightweight, nylon design provides high strength and easy care. The acrylic adhesive backing brings a strong hold on various surfaces. The exclusive self-gripping technology removes the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Uses for these adhesive strips include marine fastening, indoor/outdoor functions, cushion placement, clothing, mounting and adhering to walls and other surfaces, and more. VELCRO® Brand nylon loop tape #196256 has a 1/2-inch width and comes in black.
