A part of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener unit, the #1000 "loop" (female) strip is covered in small, soft loops. This woven tape fastener attaches to the #88 “hook” (male) section that includes small, stiff hooks. When combined, the pair of mating strips form a custom-fit, highly versatile, and stable closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's compact, nylon structure delivers strength, stability, and easy care. The original self-gripping science removes the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Uses for these strips include marine fastening, cushion placement, indoor/outdoor functions, clothing, recreational gear, tying, wrapping and bundling, straps, and other industrial uses.
