The VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener system is used across a variety of industries. This #9000 “loop” (female) strip consists of small, soft loops. The woven tape fastener joins with the #81 “hook” (male) section that consists of small, stiff hooks. When pressed together, the two mating strips create an adjustable, versatile, and secure closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape’s lightweight, polyester structure delivers high strength, stability, and easy care. While typically not as strong as nylon, polyester offers better UV and water repellency. The exclusive self-gripping technology removes the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Uses for these strips include indoor/outdoor functions, marine fastening, cushion placement, clothing, recreational gear, tying, wrapping and bundling, straps, and other industrial uses. VELCRO® Brand polyester loop tape #192101 has a width of 1.5 inches and comes in black.
