We're talking about the Edge family of fabrics available exclusively through Trivantage. This group of fabrics incorporates cutting edge Perfecta Marine technology into its manufacturing process. Perfecta Marine technology is an additive in the coating process that has reflective properties that allow the fabric to repel UV and heat which offers reduced heat gain on the cover itself.
HarborTime Edge, unlike the Aqualon Edge which is only coated on one side, is coated on both sides and has the same color on both sides. This offers a better aesthetic appeal if you're using it in certain applications like a marine top or something where you can see the color from the underside. HarborTime Edge does incorporate the same substrate that the Aqualon Edge does and this allows it to keep the characteristics of Aqualon Edge with the high tear
strength and also the high abrasion resistance. HarborTime Edge is suitable for marine applications like tops, bimini's, playpen covers, and is available in 15 colors.
The HarborTime Edge HD is also the same color, both sides. The difference between the two products is that the HarborTime Edge HD incorporates a heavier substrate into the manufacturing process and also has a back coating on it which allows for additional protection. HarborTime Edge HD is available in our three most popular colors, which are Onyx, Shale, and Suede.
For all of the Edge family of products, we provide a seven year non-prorated warranty. All of these products also feature the Perfecta Marine technology, which offers heat gain reduction on the surface of covers. These products are all so mildew, crack, and UV resistant.
