YKK #10 VISLON separating zippers are extremely strong and lightweight. With teeth made from robust, injection-molded acetal plastic and polyester tape, they outperform the standard zipper. The VISLON zipper is self-lubricating and erosion resistant. It operates smoothly against sand, mud, and other external factors. Since the color is incorporated into the molding material, the finish does not rub off, chip, or peel.
Due to the unique weather-capable features of the VISLON zipper, it has a wide variety of industrial, consumer, and military applications. Uses include bags, tents, boat covers and marine functions, upholstery, awning enclosures, curtains, and more.
