YKK VISLON UV #8 zippers are engineered primarily for marine settings. All unit and slider materials are scientifically constructed to defend against damage from weathering and direct sunlight. The teeth are molded from durable acetal plastic. The acetal polymer is attached to a hardy polyester tape and cord, which ensure the sliders remain on the track. The acetal resin minimizes the effect of UV radiation, significantly increasing the zipper's life.
For easy use, the VISLON zipper is erosion resistant and self-lubricating. It withstands mud, sand, and other natural elements. Because the color is integrated into the molding step, the paint does not rub away, chip, or peel. Use the zipper for marine projects, industrial curtains, tents, bags, enclosures, upholstery, and more.
#VFUV (279895) is a black separating zipper with a non-lock, double pull, metal slider. Chain width is 8mm. Zipper tape roll length is 42 inches.
