For zipper functions in which a smaller chain is needed, YKK #5 VISLON zippers supply a solution. The chain has a width of 5mm (with a tape width of 9/16" on either side of the chain). Despite its smaller size, VISLON #5 grants the same durability and smooth mobility as the wider sizes.
Made with polyester tape and acetal plastic teeth, it delivers high tenacity, dimensional stability, and weatherability. Erosion resistant and self-lubricating, the zipper lasts even through mud and sand. With a unique integrated coloring technique, the coating will not chip, peel, or rub off. Due to these industry-leading features, the VISLON zipper has a range of consumer, industrial, and military functions. Use for curtains, marine enclosures, upholstery, tents, curtains, and bags, among many others.
Product Notes: YKK #5VS in white includes the zipper chain only (sliders sold separately). Each zipper tape roll length is 218 yards. Not recommended for use in curved applications. Sold in full rolls only.
