Description

YKK #8 VISLON zipper chains are extremely strong and lightweight. With teeth made from durable, injection-molded acetal plastic and polyester tape, they differ from typical zippers. Because of the unique weather-capable properties of the VISLON zipper, it has a wide variety of industrial, consumer, and military applications. Uses include marine, upholstery, awning/canopy enclosures, tents, bags, industrial curtains, and more.

The VISLON zipper is corrosion resistant and self-lubricating. It operates smoothly against mud, sand, and other friction-inducing factors. The color is an integral part of the molding material, creating a finish that does not rub off, peel, or chip.

Product Notes: YKK #8VFUV is a zipper chain (slider not included). Chain width is 8mm. Tape width on either side of the chain is 5/8". Zipper tape roll length is 137 yards. Not recommended for use in curved applications. Sold in full rolls only.
