These bobbins are conveniently pre-wound with Coats Polymatic thread. Formulated for advanced UV protection, Polymatic is much less susceptible to sun damages. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features added lubrication to protect the thread during sewing.
Monofilament threads are typically stronger than twisted threads, so a thinner thread size may be used if needed. The single ply is less likely to ravel and knot during sewing. Polymatic can be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is great for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile minimizes the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. The thread is bleach cleanable.
Suggested applications for the pre-wound bobbins include sports equipment, filtration, outdoor and marine fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, quilting, and embroidery. Shown here in Black.
