Description

These convenient bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Polymatic thread. Treated for superior UV resistance, Polymatic is less susceptible to sun damages. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread has increased lubrication to protect the thread while sewing.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, so a finer thread size may be used if required. The single ply is less prone to knot and ravel during the sewing process. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and works well for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile limits the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. Since the thread is bleach cleanable, maintenance is easy.

Suggested applications for the pre-wound bobbins include sports equipment, filtration, outdoor and marine fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, quilting, and embroidery. Shown here in White.
