These bobbins are conveniently pre-wound with Coats Polymatic thread. Formulated for superior UV resistance, Polymatic is less receptive to sun damages. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features added lubrication to protect the thread while sewing.
Monofilament threads are typically stronger than twisted ones, so a finer thread size may be used if required. The single ply is less prone to knot and ravel while sewing. Polymatic may be used on both sides of a double-needle machine and is great for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile limits the thread's direct exposure to surface abrasion. Since the thread is bleach cleanable, maintenance is easy.
Suggested uses for the pre-wound bobbins include sports equipment, filtration, outdoor and marine fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, quilting, and embroidery. Offered here in White.
