Coated for maximum UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to depreciation from the sun's rays. Made of bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread has increased lubrication for protection during the sewing process.
Since monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, a finer thread size can be used if required. The single ply is less vulnerable to raveling and knotting while sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and works well for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile reduces the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. For easy maintenance, it is unaffected by bleach.
Suggested applications include filtration, marine and outdoor products, light boat tops, light sails, embroidery, sports equipment, and quilting.
