This PVC trim is designed to cover up staples once the fabric has been fixed into position. Used in awning and canopy frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel with an air hammer. Offered in more than 30 colors, like Violet.
Many favor Steel Stitch awning hardware for its quick-and-easy, durable technique for installing awnings. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, affixing the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then covered with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a compact pneumatic hammer.
