Description

Coated for superior UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less prone to damage from the sun's rays. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features enhanced lubrication for protection while sewing.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted threads, therefore a smaller thread size can be used. The single ply is less prone to raveling and knotting while sewing. Polymatic can be used on both sides of a double-needle machine and works well for zigzag sewing. The oval profile decreases the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.

Suggested applications include filtration, marine and outdoor products, light boat tops, light sails, embroidery, sports equipment, and quilting.
