Description

Treated for superior UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to harm from the sun's rays. Made from bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features increased lubrication for protection while sewing.

Monofilament threads are stronger than twisted threads, therefore a smaller thread size can be used. The single ply is less prone to knot and ravel while sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is ideal for zigzag sewing. The oval profile reduces the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.

Suggested applications include marine and outdoor fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, embroidery, filtration, quilting, and sports equipment.
