These convenient bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee sewing thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made from a durable, resilient, continuous filament polyester. It supplies 20-33% higher strength than standard lubricated sewing threads. Heat set to reduce stretching and shrinkage, Ultra Dee seams have a more uniform appearance. Its bonded finish prevents ply untwisting and minimizes fraying at the needle eye. This means improved seam quality and less stress over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is built for tough assembly and demanding conditions.
Main uses for the pre-threaded bobbins include outdoor fabric products, seat trims, furniture, leather goods, luggage, footwear, and marine applications. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins are offered in a range of color options, like Black. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
