Coats Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted), durable, continuous filament polyester thread. It provides 20-33% higher continued strength than typical lubricated threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to reduce shrinking or expanding. The bonded finish adds extra strength, keeps the ply from unwinding, and decreases fraying at the needle's eye. This means greater seam quality and less hassle over mending broken thread or rethreading. The high-tenacity sewing thread is built for heavy-duty fabrication and demanding conditions.
Main uses include footwear, furniture upholstery, seat trims, luggage, marine applications, leather goods, and outdoor goods. Ultra Dee polyester thread is offered in many versatile color options, including Black. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
