TR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is lubricated with a silicone solution for high-speed sewing. The thread has an elongation (stretch) of approximately 17%, which makes it more robust than leading brands. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Protected by a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is made of ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for tensile, versatile, and durable performance. UV rays will not weaken or degrade it, meaning it maintains its strength and color indefinitely. Unaffected by canvas cleaning solutions and resistant to chemicals, the thread will not mildew, stain, or rot. And since it's designed to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.
Uses include awnings, shade covers, upholstery, pool covers, tarps, boat covers, and other marine or industrial projects.
