This #2 self-piercing grommet and plain washer set is used to reinforce holes in a variety of fabrics. It will puncture most fabrics without pre-punching a hole, while placing the grommet and washer in the same action. Forged from heavy-gauge stainless steel, these small but durable pieces of hardware are stronger and less malleable than brass. Easily install the metal grommet and washer with the suitable setting tools.
While ideal for banners, drapery, and curtains, they also work well in custom upholstery, outdoor awning, and marine jobs. Specific applications consist of banners and flags, privacy drapes, boat covers, luggage, safety gear, seating, signs and media, tarps, awnings, and outdoor tents.
