Starfire^® Awning

Whether you're designing a tent or awning, Starfire flame-retardant fabric suits a variety of uses. This awning fabric includes an acrylic topcoat for durability. Use for commercial canvas awnings, tipis, outfitters tents, signs, street pole banners, and others. It performs well for custom projects or awning fabric replacement. The fabric's blend of polyester and cotton makes it a preferred choice for projects where painted or screen-printed artwork is required. Fabricators also like that Starfire can shrink to fit around tent or awning frames.

Starfire tent and awning fabric is often preferred where a natural, cloth-like look is needed. Offered here in Tangerine, Starfire delivers the same style you'd expect from Glen Raven fabrics.

Product Notes:
(1) Since Starfire is a blended fabric that includes cotton, the fabric may attract dust and dirt, which allows for the growth of mold and mildew. This is a natural outcome, especially in hot, humid, dusty, and wet climates.
(2) The fabric includes a top coat. The coated side should be installed facing out or the warranty will be voided. To verify which side is coated, look for the slightly shiny side where water beads off more easily (the shine may be harder to distinguish on the light colors).
(3) Do not use Starfire on any roll up awnings or retractable systems. Starfire's coating is susceptible to crazing when folded. Please see the written limited warranty for what is covered and the technical data sheet for more details.
