Description

Made from aluminum alloy 6063-T5 with a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used with the Steel Stitch System. Generally used in spans up to 38" that are laterally supported against fabric tension at a maximum of 36".

Steel Stitch provides versatile design in the creation of awnings, back-lit signs, and canopies. The frame system utilizes the "staple-in" technique of affixing fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC extrusion, in a selection of over 30 colors, is then driven into the tube channel to hide the staples. By using divider strips to link sections and the patented FlashStrip® (which forms a watertight seal against building surfaces), the end result is an attractive, smooth, and wrinkle-free awning.

Steel Stitch Staple-In Tube #SMP-1C is 1" x 1" x 1/10" and is 25' long.
